Bella is on maternity leave... Bella is bred to the one and only MFI Peruvian Providence for a late March 2014 cria. The result of that pairing should be an uberfine and uniform cria with a power packed pedigree. From this pairing we would expect lasting fineness and beautiful character with lots and lots of bundles packed in there. So, we are not so patiently waiting until the end of March!
Oh boy, almost pains me to list our lovely Bella, who is probably one of the easiest, sweetest, most expressive alpacas I've ever met. Bella has everything you could ask for in a foundation female; lovely, lovely bright white fiber with that combination of fineness and density we all want to produce. At nearly 7 years of age, she still sports a buttery 21 micron fleece that's uniform and spins like a dream. Her offspring all seem to carry her fleece traits, manintaining a low micron, uniformity and density. Best of all, she breeds and births with ease, has plenty of milk for her cria and is so mellow you can pretty much walk right up to her, scratch her neck and she'll "talk" while you do it. Bella is an outstanding foundation female with much to offer the discriminatng breeder for many years to come.
